Can someone help me with tree selections for my front and back yard in Yardley PA?

Recent storms resulted in the loss of 4 very large pine trees, a redwood cherry and a crabapple. Also lost 2 ash last year. Would like help in deciding what to plant and recommendations for tree planting services if possible.

Answer

You need someone on site to see what is making your trees so vulnerable to wind. Suggest that you get advice from a reputable arborist and/or a registered landscape architect. It sounds as if your site is very vulnerable. You might consider shrubs instead of trees and contacting arborists such as Bartlett to evaluate the situation.
