What types of flowers can stand a lot of sunlight?
We have sunlight on our patio all day long
Answer
Robert, start with a good soil mix. In your case you might find potting soil with moisture control helpful. But you have to be careful to water anyway as the moisture absorbing pellets will absorb moisture from the plant if they run out of moisture. Zinnias, marigolds, trailing petunias are very reliable, plus herbs such as rosemary, oregano, thyme, etc., good, but basil and broad leaves need much more moisture and care. Dill and parsley often work well and maybe you will get butterfly larvae to feed on it instead of you! (That may be a good thing.) The above plants have been found to be especially tough. ep
