PHS had some associations with Pennock Florist, 1514 Chestnut Street, which would have been in business at that time. But we don't have records of a florist on Market Street at that time, but of course it's quite likely there would have been at least one. And there were likely to have been florists associated with the major department stores on Market Street - Wanamakers, Strawbridge and Clothier, Lits, Gimbels.
