What soil should I use in containers?
I am planning a rooftop garden in Philadelphia. I have never grown perennials and small trees in containers, and need to find a good quality, lightweight potting mix.

Recommend that you read the book City Gardener's Handbook, From Balcony to Backyard by Linda Yang. She has very good advice about roof gardens.
