Q. viburnum eskimo should i remove flower heads when they go brown

should i remove flower heads to encourage leaves

Answer

Dear Gardener:  Please leave the old flowerheads on the Eskimo Viburnum as later in the summer and well into fall and maybe winter you will have beautiful fruit.  At first the fruit will be red and then it will progress into black.  This is considered an ornamental feature of Eskimo Viburnum.
