philodedron poting

my plant is leafs are so large they lay on my floor. How can I keep this from happening?

Answer

Dear Philodendron Grower:   Frequently if the Philodendron is healthy and happy, the leaves may end up flopping on the floor.  Usually in its native growing area, it will be climbing up a tree or in some sort of a support, or growing on the ground.   In our homes, a health vigorous plant may need to be staked.  Staking your plant may solve your problem.
